Would also like to add that she always got back to us in a timely fashion. When buying this house the closing was delayed by the seller and Sara always kept us updated and often checked in to make sure we were ok with everything going on.

I called Sara to list a house in West Haven that I was selling. We spoke for a while, she took photos and asked what I thought I would like to get for the house. After doing her research, she gave me a listing price about $30K more than I would have thought and said she anticipated getting offers at that price. We signed the contract. Sara indicated a time frame to put the house on the market that would be good to get offers. I had the house cleaned out and at the first open house we had an offer! Unfortunately, the buyer could not attain proper financing, so Sara re-listed the house and had another open house. Another offer, this time the financing was good and the house was ready for closing. The closing was postponed (minor paperwork glitch by buyer's lender), and Sara remained upbeat and positive. We did close a few days later and our business was completed. Sara was positive and upbeat through the entire process, kept me informed as to what was happening and what to expect, was very responsive to phone calls and questions. I would recommend Sara Tufano unconditionally!!! She's great!!!

Sara Tufano is the best realtor around, she knows everything about the business and knows exactly what to do at every moment. I was referred to Sara by numerous friends when it came to time to sell my house. After my initial meeting with Sara, I knew she was the right person for the job. We did everything based on her suggestion and I got an offer within 2 days that was above my asking price!! This review is long overdue. SPOILER ALERT: Sara is a She-ro.
My husband and I had finally outgrown the unit we occupied in our two family property and were ready to move out. We began our search Summer 2018. Initially, we decided we would handle the search ourselves without help from an agent because 1) we couldn’t imagine that anyone would be able to find our dream home better than us; and 2) we can sometimes be just a wee bit fickle.
It was by chance our paths crossed with Sara as she was covering for a colleague at an open house??. And thank goodness too because she saved us A LOT of time in searching properties that met our numerous and stiff criteria. But more important, she is fantastic to work with. She is professional knowing not only her industry but is also networked into industries that support real estate. She was accessible for our endless questions, concerns, ideas, etc. pretty much whatever we threw at her. Sara focused on our needs, put a plan together, and advised us of a course of action. We didn’t listen to her advice right away when it came to market pricing - this was our stubborn attitude kicking in - but after looking at several properties, we understood and adjusted our expectations. Working with Sara felt like a partnership and the search process became enjoyable for us.
I look forward to an opportunity to work with Sara again but on our next multi family since she’s already helped us close on our dream house.

We had “volume” agents - who are top ranked on Zillow - come in and give us list prices of 175-180k because they knew they could turn the house around fast for that price. Sara came in and gave us a price way over what we thought we could ever get for the house - with her professional photographer, drone photos, and more - she made our property look the way it should look. With some strategic price drops we still got more than we expected within 25 days of listing in a market that currently has about a 90 - 100 avg time on market.

I’d recommend Sara to anyone looking to sell or buy.

If I could give Sara 10 stars I would. Right from the beginning she gave us the best advice and made the process so easy. She hired a photographer that made our house look even more incredible, helped us price it based on our needs for a fast sale while still getting us an AMAZING profit and was all around such an easy person to work with. If I needed anything (even to be talked off a ledge in what can be a stressful process), Sara was responsive, informed and thoughtful in all of our interactions.
